Cebu Pacific offers ZERO fare for Asian flights
Adds flights to Shanghai, Macau, and KL
Low-fare leader Cebu Pacific (CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier to the ASEAN region is offering a zero fare promotion for most of its international routes from Clark, Cebu, Manila, and Davao operational hubs.

The seat sale will run from January 16 to 22, 2009 and is valid for travel from February 1 to March 31, 2009. This is non-refundable, and is exclusive of applicable surcharges and government taxes.

The airline has allocated more than 70,000 seats for its international seat sale. This includes CEB’s flights to Bangkok, Guangzhou, Ho Chi Minh, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kaohsiung, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Shanghai, Singapore, and Taipei.

CEB is also offering a P1,999 promo fare for its Manila-Osaka (Japan) thrice weekly service. Passengers availing the Osaka promotion may refund their surcharges.

Candice Iyog, CEB spokesperson, said, “We hope that many will take advantage of this opportunity to travel to our neighboring Asian destinations. This should also encourage tourist arrivals at a time when we would need them most. Clearly, we remain committed to our country’s tourism agenda.”

For this summer season, CEB is also expanding its international flight services by increasing its frequency from Manila to:

Shanghai, from five times weekly to daily starting March 31;
Kuala Lumpur, from four to five times weekly starting March 27;
Macau; from six times weekly to daily starting April 1
Iyog concluded, “We encourage everyone to act fast and book their flights through www.cebupacificair.com or call its reservations hotline (632) 70-20-88 or visit its nearest travel agent.”

CEB offers the most number of flights and routes from the Philippines to the ASEAN region. It operates direct international services from four operational hubs in the country.

Now in its 13th year, CEB has the youngest aircraft fleet in the Philippines. It flies to 15 international cities and 27, soon to be 32 domestic destinations with the addition of Siargao, Catarman, Calbayog, Virac (Catanduanes), and Cauayan (Isabela) in the coming weeks.
